The Tax Collector's Office hours are: Tuesday afternoons by appointment and Thursday, 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm. Our phone number is 525-4441 x120. You may also call Linda Coughlin, Deputy Tax Collector in the Administrative Office at x102. Most checks will be posted to your account on Thursdays; the payment date will be the day the payment was dropped off or the post mark date on a mailed envelope. Payment updates to the website will be on Thursday evenings.
Online Property Tax Billing and Payment
Property Tax payments can be made on-line, by using either a bank account or a credit/debit card. Payment receipts will be sent via email or can be printed directly from the computer screen.
This is a fee-based service, billed by our biller portal service provider, Invoice Cloud. The fee is .95 to pay via ACH (checking/savings account), and a 2.95% fee to pay by a debit or credit card; this is based on the total transaction amount (minimum fee of $1.95).
Please note: Payments made on line will not reflect on the Tax Kiosk until the Tax Collector's next office hours, however, the payment will be processed with your bank or credit card company immediately.
Go Green: Paying online reduces paper use and is an easy way to help the environment, and you will save a stamp! You may sign up for paperless billing in the tax office or when making a tax payment online.
