Town of Hancock
Supervisors of the Checklist
The Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 7:00 pm until 7:30 pm to make additions or corrections to the Voter Checklist. This is the last day for registered voters to change their political affiliation before the State Primary on September 8, 2020. Voter registration forms may be requested from the Town Clerk and you can register by mail with the proper documentation. New voters may register on election day.
Because of Covid-19 restrictions, Governor Sununu issued Emergency Order #43 on May 13 that waives the requirement that a voter must appear in person to change party affiliation. Voters instead may choose to download and fill in an Application to Change Party Affiliation, which is available by clicking through the Town of Hancock website: hancocknh.org => Departments => Town Clerk => News and Announcements, State of NH Revised Application to Change Party Affiliation Completed forms must be mailed or delivered to the Town Clerk no later than 5:00 pm, June 2, 2020.
Voters can check their party affiliation online: http://sos.nh.gov/VoteInforLook.aspx
The in-person session will be held in the Barbara Caverly meeting room, lower level of the Town Office Building, accessible from the parking lot at the rear of the building. Please wear a face mask, and respect social distancing. Be prepared to possibly follow stricter guidelines, if necessary, such as transacting business while remaining in your vehicle.
