Town of Hancock - COVID-19 Updates

April 13, 2020:  The Selectboard voted to cancel this year's Memorial Day Parade due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

March 31, 2020:  Effective April 1, 2020 the Town Offices will be closed to public access.  The Town Clerk's Office, Tax Collector, and Selectboard Office will continue to provide services during normal office hours, but will only be available by phone or email.  

March 25, 2020:  Effective March 28, 2020 the Hancock Transfer Station will be on limited recycling due to COVID-19. Plastic, Aluminum, Tin and Household trash will be disposed of in the compactor. There will be another open top dumpster where the metal dumpster is currently placed for mixed paper and cardboard. Please remember to break down cardboard boxes. The glass container will still be open for use. Please remember to place glass only in this dumpster with no lids. The metal dumpster will now be by the rear berm. Please use best management practices for social distancing. See attendant for demo dumpster and electronic disposal fees.  This will be in effect until further notice.

March 23, 2020:  Starting Monday, March 30th, the Town Clerk's Office will be open by appointment only.  The Office hours will remain the same; Monday 5 - 8 pm and Wednesday 3 - 6 pm.  Residents are encouraged to call 525-4444 to speak with the Town Clerk during office hours.
