Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Review

The 2017 Hazard Mitigation Plan Update is a planning tool used by the Town of Hancock, as well as other local, state and federal governments, in their efforts to reduce the effects from natural and man-made hazards. By maintaining an updated Hazard Mitigation Plan, the town is eligible to receive grant funding for mitigation projects.

The Draft Hazard Mitigation Plan Update is available for public review and comment from May 22 through June 2, 2017.  Please see the attached document at the bottom of this page or view at the Hancock Town Office during regular business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30 to 4:30).

Written comments may be addressed to Jon GrosJean, Emergency Management Director, and mailed to PO Box 6, Hancock NH 03449 or by email to Lisa Murphy at lmurphy@swrpc.org.
