STORM LEDGER AND CONDITIONS FOUND:
9:00 PM 30º light snow has covered the ground, the sleet and freezing rain is just starting to mix in.
9:30 PM Enough of a coating has fallen to make the salt stick and work. Will have Jeff head in for a salt run. Traction is real good at the moment, will leave everyone else at home for now.
12:30 AM 30.5º with freezing rain. Steadier freezing rain is coming in. Jeff just finishing up his salt run. Will try to get him a break before we begin treating again.
2:00 AM steady rain, temperature just came above 32º
2:30 AM called everyone to begin treating their routes. 32.4º
6:00 AM 32.5¡ with moderate to heavy rain. All routes have been treated. No problems encountered. After breakfast they will put plows on and scrape the pavement. Lenny will get all walks and parking areas ready. We do have a car parked in the parking area in front of the manning house, will be unable to clean up that area. 9:00 AM all routes have ben scraped and treated. We will be splitting the crew up so we can have 2 trucks for tonight. Allen and Jim will be headed home.
11:00AM kings highway closed to tree on wires. Jeff reports light icing still occurring. Ronnie and Jeff will spit town up and lightly sand where needed.
12:30 PM Kings Highway Open.
4:00 PM 33º with light rain. Jeff and Ronnie are headed home.
7:00 PM temperature is nearing 32º Allen and Jim called to check all roads. Storm is over, skies are clearing, we had over 1.5 inches of rain
12:00 AM Allen and Jim headed home, all rods checked and set for the weekend
