Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, March 28th, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at the Hancock Town Office (entrance and parking at the rear of the building) to hear an application by Sarah Laeng-Gilliatt for a Special Exception regarding Hancock Zoning Ordinance Article 15.6.9 Home Based Business and 15.5 Special Exceptions – General Conditions. The applicant is seeking approval to operate a small cheese making facility in the barn and to have an honor system shop also located in the barn. The property is located on Tax Map U09, Lot 16 on 37 Main Street in the Residential District.
