Trustees of Trust Funds Minutes

May 16^th, 2012

Trustees present: Dowse, Carlson and Huntington

Chair Dowse called the meeting to order at 9 A.M.

The minutes of the December 21, 2011 were approved.

Voted to approve a $900 scholarship for a Conant graduate to be identified. Funds to be taken from the Manning Fund.

For the Fire Department:

1) The $36,000 disbursement from the Helen Brown Funds approved at the December 21^st meeting was cancelled when other funds became available.

2) A new request totaling $14,700.50 for the following equipment was approved and voted.

$4,740.50 for new storage racks for turnout gear.

$5,730 for 2 sets of turnout gear and an electrical detection device,  $708 to be paid now and balance later.

$4,320 as the 5% match for a $90,000 grant that will purchase 15 sets of SCBA breathing apparatus.

Dowse recused himself from the vote because of his connection with the Fire Department.

Dowse will set up a July meeting with our investment advisor.

Meeting adjourned at 9:20.
