NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR CERTIFICATE OF APPROVAL

November 8, 2011 at 7 PM – Hancock Town Office

Description of proposed change(s):

•   Front Step: Improve rise of granite block step at front entrance to the Inn and install custom
fabricated iron handrail painted satin black.

•   Right Side Parking Area to Front Porch: Remove the cobblestones and replace them with a uniformly sloping walkway.  The walkway will be constructed with a cobblestone border and "Boston City Hall" paving bricks as the walking surface.

•   Walkway to Kitchen: Eliminate uneven tripping hazard of current field stone and concrete walkway.  Remove the stones and concrete and construct a walkway that is 4' wide by 17' long.  The new walkway will have granite cobblestones as the edging and "Boston City Hall" paving bricks as the walking surface.

In order to reach a decision, a Public Hearing has been scheduled for Tuesday, November 8, 2011
at 7 PM at the Hancock Selectboard Meeting Room on the lower level of the Town Office Building.
