Town of Hancock, New Hampshire, 03449 Hancock Energy AdvisoryTeam Minutes of Meeting Town Offices,
Present: Tom Faber, Kurt Grassett, Phil Jones, John Jordan, Absent: Nancy Gamble, Ron Mack
The meeting convened at 7:00 PM upstairs.
The first order of business was to recognize with sadness Amy Sulborski's resignation from HEAT.
Second order was to congratulate Tom and Susie on the birth of their son, the 7 lb 6 oz Master David Joseph Faber on May 9, 2011 (Mother's day plus an hour or so.) All are well.
The minutes of April's meeting were reviewed and approved.
Plans for the June 11, 2011 open house at the garage from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon were detailed: Kurt will set up to "educate" the guests as to how the PV system works and show them the Hancock web page that tracks electrical output and cost savings. Kurt will ask Neven to put up a sign directing guests to the town garage Kurt will make some coffee Phil will bring iced tea John will make brownies Tom will make something else Tom will coordinate with the dump to show how much money is saved by recycling Phil will accept Barbara Caverly's kind offer to contribute goodies Everyone will attend the open house to support Kurt so he has at least one committee person to help out for the whole two hours. Everyone will be attuned to the possibility of recruiting new members
Kurt announced that the weatherization grant bids all came in nearly $70, 000 over the amount of the award. Happily, the state found the extra money and the projects will go forward.
We agreed to meet next on the second Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 7:00 PM.
There being no other business, the meeting adjourned at 7:20 PM – a brevity record indeed.
