Hancock, New Hampshire Dump Committee Meeting Minutes, November 16, 2011, 5:00 PM.

Members attending were Kurt Grassett, John Jordan, Mark Monkton, George Salazar, Denny Caldwell, and Clay Sherman.

WEDNESDAY HOURS:  In response to the increased amount of mid-week use of the facility by users, the Select Board has agreed that the Dump should continue to stay open to 7:00 PM on Wednesdays.

COMPACTOR: Additional bids are being sought for replacement of the compactor. Financing options will continue to be considered. Clay suggested checking on the possibility of grant funds from organizations such as New Hampshire the Beautiful or the Northeast Resource Recovery Association (NRRA).

RESIGNATION: Cathy Roper has resigned from her position at the dump. Kurt is accepting applications for the position of Dump Manager. Until the position is filled, volunteer assistance is needed on Mondays 2:30 to 4:30, primarily to monitor the demolition dumpster while the paid employee carries out other duties at the recycling center. Committee members voluntarily self-scheduled to cover Mondays through December 12.

HANCOCK HAPPENINGS COLUMN: Suggestion was made to include a note of appreciation to Cathy Roper for her past service.

The meeting ended at 5:20 PM.

Respectfully,

Dennis R. Caldwell, Dump Committee member
