November minutes were reviewed and accepted.

 

Financials reviewed and accepted.

David reported that he and Roberta attended the NH Association of Conservation Commissions

Annual meeting on November 5th.

 

Robert has been in touch with Rob Finlay regarding the "Brown Farm easement" and would like to

Conduct the easement monitoring before we have snow.  Phil & Dave expressed interest in attending.

 

Roberta made reservations for 2 to attend the NH Co Op Extension workshops for Dec. 8th.

Dave will attend with her.

 

Dave & Marc completed monitoring of the Welch Farm.

 

Received info from the NH Assoc. of Natural Resource Scientists, offering membership to their Assoc. for

A $20.00 annual fee, the entire cons. Comm. would be entitled to a $25.00 discount for their seminars.

Phil will check to see the content and pricing of the seminars to see if it would benefit the Commission.

 

Received notifications from DES for a 24' culvert replacement on Old Dublin Road, east of Jaquith Road

And that a permit was issued for cutting on the Verney property.

 

Commission looking into what is necessary to update the Natural Resource Inventory.

An Antioch Intern would require 225 hours of labor to complete their credits and require a stipend.

It may be possible to split with another commission.                

 

The Mill Road Bridge Group used $230.63 of the $750.00 credit line that the commission had approved.

    

                                                                                  

Easement monitoring:

 

Huntley, Walcott, Valley Farm/Brown, Jessop, Toumanoff, Hunt, Merrill, Dowse/Amidon, Kassarjian, Kulish.

 

 

Future Projects discussed:

 

  Look for Intern to update the Natural Resources  Inventory– Rhine property needs to be added.

 

  Map the Kulish, Merrill & Welch trails.

 

  Joint Meeting with the Rec. Dept.

 

  Make Bluebird houses with school children this winter.

   

  Walcott Forest – Sign, boardwalk and trail marker maintenance.
