- It was moved and seconded that we accept the minutes of the May 12, 2010 meeting.
- There is no news yet from the Moose Plate grant.
- Our next meeting, which will be a work session, is scheduled for September 2. We will begin to catalog the documents in the tin document box dating from what appears to be 1908-10.
- Eric will ask Barb C. to order archival paper clips, i.e. stainless or plastic.
- Eric reported that he attended the HEAT meeting and learned that HEAT will oversee insulating the building's exterior walls and attic. It was agreed that this project will be help to stabilize the climate in the archives room. Interior storms with UV protection may also be installed.
- The Committee looks forward to these changes and will re-evaluate the impact on the climate in the archives room after the work is complete.
- Eric will ask Barb Caverly to make sure the dehumidifier and air conditioner are turned on for the summer.
- It is time to take a reading from the data logger; Eric will ask Barb to take that reading.
- The meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM.
Respectfully submitted,
Karen Dudra
