- OBJECTIVES OF THIS RFP
The Town of Hancock New Hampshire is soliciting proposals for the purchase of a new 19,500 GVW municipal plow truck. This truck will be used for municipal road/bridge maintenance and construction, including snow removal operations. The proposal should include those items that are necessary for this vehicle to be utilized in a municipal setting that includes snow removal operations to include a front plow, possibly a wing plow and a sander that will be slid into the rear dump body. The installation of the live hydraulics, plow frame, sander controls and lighting package will be requested under a separate proposal.

- OBJECTIVE OF THIS RFP
The Town of Hancock New Hampshire is soliciting proposals for the installation
of a wet hydraulic system, dump body, plow frame and sander controls to
installed on a 2013 19,500 GVW cab and chassis. This vehicle will be used in a
municipal setting with full winter snow removal and ice control duties. We will be
using an existing front snow plow (Everest 9’6” Model OWRL11451540) and a 9’
Swenson hydraulic spreader that will need hydraulic connections to match the
existing hydraulic connections on each piece of equipment. All wiring will be
protected by wire wrap and/or conduit. All connections will be waterproofed and
heat shrinked to avoid corrosion and water intrusion. All hydraulic lines will be
supported and protected to avoid unnecessary strain and wear/abrasion during
normal use of the vehicle.
