1. The DES Application -- Kurt & Tom related the application is looking
reasonably well. Two stages have been completed and an individual has
been assigned to cover the application process. The final revision is
being completed by Kurt for delivery tomorrow (18th). This is a 60/40
funding with the majority by the DES and the remainder by the town and
NH DOT (which will mainly be in labor and materials vice literal
money). All the survey and design engineering will be done by the
state. We are awaiting final approval, estimated to be in February.

2. Wires Fundraising – Mary said there was a meeting with consultant Bill Dunlop regarding the feasibility study conducted to determine the ability to raise the goal of $220,000. The group agreed that the goal is attainable, but that the case needed to be edited to emphasize the urgency of the project. Howard revised the case including the explanation that we have great relationships with the utilities, which have agreed to facilitate the project. New prospective donors will be contacted to firm up the support levels for the project. A 501c3 will be set up to handle the funding received and a treasurer is needed.

The Board approved the draft letter to Commissioner Carol Murray asking her to request assistance from Senator Gregg with obtaining federal funding for three projects to improve drainage and safety on Main Street.

the town attorney and if no modifications are needed the warrant will
go before town meeting for approval and then out to bid. It is
