PUBLIC NOTICE

The Supervisors of the Checklist will be in session on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from 7:00-7:30 PM for new registrations and corrections to the checklist. Please bring proof of identity and domicile.

The session will be held in the lower level of the Town Office Building, accessible from the parking lot at the rear of the building

Location: Town Office Building, Barbara C. Caverly Meeting Room on the lower level. Parking and entrance are in the rear of the building. Meetings are open to the public. Please call the Town Administrator's office 525.4441 for appointments.

TAX COLLECTOR'S OFFICE NOTICE

The Tax Collector's Office will be closed on the following days: August 11, August 13 and September 17.

If you need assistance concerning property taxes please email the tax collector at tax@hancocknh.org or obtain information from the Tax Kiosk on the Hancock Town website.

TOWN OF HANCOCK
NOTICE OF HEARING
PLANNING BOARD

The Hancock Planning Board will commence a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 17, 7:15 p.m. in the Meeting Room at the Hancock Town Hall to consider a proposal of Harris Center for Conservation Education ("HCCE") for a boundary line adjustment and annexation relating to Hancock Tax Map R06, Lot 4 and Map R07, Lot 10, on behalf of the respective owners of those lots, Dudley M, III, and Jeanette Baker and Donna Lee McCabe. The properties are in the Rural and Agricultural District. The purpose of this adjustment is to enlarge R06/4 by 50 acres, more or less, by annexation of land being taken from R07/10. No new lots will be created nor will existing frontage be modified. If permission is granted, HCCE represents that it intends to acquire the newly-enlarged lot R06/4 for conservation purposes. Copies of the full proposal are available for inspection at the Hancock Town Office.

The hearing may be continued to one or more additional dates, the time and place of any continued hearing to be announced at the initial hearing or any continuation thereof.

The hearing is open to the public and all parties are encouraged to attend in person or by agent or counsel. The Planning Board also welcomes statements or representations in writing from any interested person; any such representation should be delivered to the Planning Board c/o Town Hall by no later than five p.m. on the date of the hearing; all such written submissions will be made available for public inspection.

NOTICE OF RE-SCHEDULED MEETING
HANCOCK LIBRARY TRUSTEES

The Hancock Town Library Trustees will meet at 4 pm on Wednesday September 24th in the Daniels Room instead of the usual time of 1 pm due to a scheduling conflict.
