Jaquith Road
Road washout on October 8 & 9 - 7.39 inches of rain
And again on October 15 & 16 - 4.25 inches of rain

Jaquith Road suffered two severe washouts during both rain events. The picture above is the dam just below Old Dublin Road . Both 15 inch culverts failed, and traffic traveling through the high water eventually collapsed one of the culverts requiring us to replace both culverts in this location. The picture below is at #37 Jaquith Road . The runoff is so great out of the woods that the 15 inch culvert that is at the top of this hill cannot handle the runoff, the result is the washing out of the hill as you see in the picture. In April of 2005 we had lost this hill during the spring rains. The resulting work helped keep most of the hill intact, but we did lose about 1/3 of the road.
The total dollar value of damage on Jaquith Road was $12,015.00. We also received an additional $1,630.00 to up size the culvert above #37 Jaquith Road .
